I am pleased to announce the release of my newest policy brief, “Moving Forward with Federal College Ratings: Goals, Metrics, and Recommendations” through my friends at the Wisconsin Center for the Advancement of Postsecondary Education (WISCAPE). In the brief, I outline the likely goals of the Obama Administration’s proposed Postsecondary Institution Ratings System (PIRS), discuss some potential outcome measures, and provide recommendations for a fair and effective ratings system given available data.
